You will find very interesting the visit to the cloister of Santa Maria de Senioribus, the Carmelite convent of the 15th century. The main attraction of Desenzano for art and history lovers is the Roman Villa built between the 3rd and 5th centuries BC. More than 200 square meters of mosaics show scenes of fishing, hunting, grape harvesting and dancing as well as the fragments of frescoes. The Villa Brunate in Rivoltella host the town’s library since 2007. The cloister of the ex-Library in Desenzano is the home to the G. Rambotti Archaeological Museum dedicated to pile-dwelling villages, inside you will find the oldest plough in the world. The Paul VI theatre is famous for its Cineforum.
